Nintendo Revives Classic Game Boy Titles: Super Mario Land, Alleyway, and Nintendo Baseball Now Available on Nintendo Switch Online

We are in a time in which Nintendo is running out of new games announced, since next month they are released Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD and in july Nintendo World Championships. For that reason, they are releasing some classics more frequently for the online platform, and just today they released a new announcement for those who were waiting for titles focused on the first Game Boy of everyone.

Through a video, they have shown us three games, the first of them is Super Mario Land, which was being requested by fans of the character and is the plumber’s first takeaway adventure; then there is Alleway, which is a pongo style in which the user must eliminate quadrants. To finish is Nintendo Baseballportable version of the title that had already arrived before the NES.

It is remembered as one of the launch games for the Game Boy and for being one of the first portable gaming experiences that Nintendo offered. Although its premise is simple, its addictive gameplay and progressive challenge have made it a classic for many retro video game fans.

Nintendo Baseball:

It is a sports video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy portable console. Released in 1989, it is one of the launch titles for the Game Boy and offers a simplified but entertaining version of baseball, suitable for the technical capabilities of the portable console.

Author’s note: It seemed very suspicious to me at first that Super Mario Land 2 came before the first. However, the better late than never phrase applies here I guess.
