New York Knicks Star Players Undergo Surgery Post-Elimination in Eastern Conference Semi-Finals

After Monday’s defeat against Indiana (109-130), synonymous with elimination in the semi-finals of the Eastern Conference, the many injured New York Knicks were able to rest and heal. Jalen Brunson and Bogdan Bogdanovic therefore underwent surgery, as the team announced on Wednesday. Their condition will be reassessed in 6 to 8 weeks.

Brunson, the team’s star point guard, was on the operating table to treat his fractured left hand, which forced him to leave his partners at the worst possible time, during Game 7 against the Indiana Pacers, leading in part to the defeat of the New Yorkers.

Bogdanovic, for his part, had surgery on his left wrist, after his left foot operation which had kept him away from the courts since match 4 of the first round of the play-offs, after contact against the Frenchman of the Philadelphia 76ers, Nicolas Batum.
