Television presenters Hélène Hendriks and Noa Vahle will start working at Ziggo Sport from August. The sports channel announced this today when presenting the plans for next season’s UEFA European football.
From the 2024/2025 football season, Ziggo Sport will exclusively broadcast UEFA European football for three years. The sports channel has exclusive media rights for the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Conference League. FC Twente will certainly participate in one of the first two tournaments. In order to broadcast more than 500 football matches per year in a professional manner, the sports channel is significantly expanding its team of presenters, commentators and analysts.
The 43-year-old Hendriks was active for ESPN and Talpa for many years. At Ziggo Sport she will be responsible for presenting all top European football on the channel. Noa Vahle, who was named the Greatest TV Talent in the Netherlands last year, recently worked for Viaplay, Veronica and SBS. She will soon travel throughout Europe for Ziggo Sport following Dutch clubs in the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League.
Marcel Beerthuizen, director of Ziggo Sport, is happy with the expansion of the team: “With so many live football matches, we are naturally scaling up as a sports channel. Top football also requires top talent from us. That is why we are happy with the arrival of Hélène, Noa and Armin (presenter Shah, ed.) as new colleagues for Wytse and Bas. Together with all the commentators and analysts, they will make it a wonderful football season.”
