SCHÄRDING. At the annual general meeting of the Schärding Tennis Club, the board was confirmed in its role and a new chairman was elected.
Alexander Bösl succeeds Heinz Stockenhuber, who guided the fortunes of the traditional club with all his heart and soul for almost three decades. After so many years of service to the tennis club, it was his own wish to move into the second row – but as deputy chairman, he will continue to support the club with advice and support in the future. The new chairman, Alexander Bösl, wants to continue Stockenhuber’s committed work but also wants to set his own new accents. Bösl sees a particular challenge in creating the conditions for successful team work while at the same time meeting the requirements and wishes of amateur players. Regular children’s training was even launched to promote youth tennis. Investments and improvements to the tennis facility are also on the to-do list. Bösl is convinced that TV Schärding is well positioned with the necessary team spirit to meet the requirements of a modern sports club in the future.
