NBA legend with Draisaitl desire
While NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal is surprised with a jersey from NHL professional Zach Hyman, another NBA icon wants the jersey of a German star.
There was an amusing exchange of blows between the two NBA legends Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley during the US TV show “NBA on TNT”. Former NBA center O’Neal received a signed jersey from Edmonton Oilers forward Zach Hyman during the show.

O’Neal was thrilled with the Oilers forward’s personalized gift, which also included a hockey stick. “To Shaq, thank you for all the support,” Hyman had written on the jersey. The NHL player’s name was written on the back.

“Zach, I love you, brother,” O’Neal said, holding up the sweater. Barkley’s voice could suddenly be heard in the background, asking “NHL on TNT” analyst Paul Bissonnette if he could get him a Leon Draisaitl jersey. Draisaitl plays with Hyman for the Oilers.
But how did the gift to Shaq O’Neal come about?
The NBA legend had appeared on the “NHL on TNT” show a week earlier and also tried his hand at ice hockey. The TV crew then gave him the nickname “Shaq Hyman”.

So the Oilers player didn’t miss the opportunity to present O’Neal with one of his jerseys.
Draisaitl is currently playing with the Edmonton Oilers in the second round of the NHL playoffs against the Vancouver Canucks. In the first game, the Oilers lost 4:5 despite a 4:1 lead.
