National Elite Men’s Triathlon Team to Compete in Samarkand 2024 World Cup

The national elite men’s triathlon team made up of Crisanto Grajales Valencia, Erik Yamir Ramos Croda and Jesús Gildardo Espíritu Rómulo will compete this May 18 in the Samarkand 2024 World Cup, which will be held in Uzbekistan.

As established by the World Triathlon, the international governing body of the specialty, the international event is one of the last on its calendar to collect valuable points in the world ranking and towards the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

A starting list of 54 participants will be in action in the multi-sport event that will have an Olympic distance with 1,500 meters of swimming course, 40 km of cycling with undulating climbs and hairpin turns, as well as four flat and tight run laps from 2.5 km to getting to the finish line.
