In mid-April, the National Basketball League ratified several major changes in its competitions, both in Betclic Elite and in Pro B. On this occasion, the LNB recorded the organization of a season launch tournament from September 2025 with four teams: the French Betclic Elite champion, the winner of the Leaders Cup, the winner of the Coupe de France and the French Pro B champion.

According to independent journalist Théo Quintard, this will take place at Roland-Garros. Its famous Philippe-Chatrier central court had already hosted a Betclic Élite regular season match, on October 16, 2022, between Paris Basketball and Monaco. The Roca Team returned to make the break in the final against the Metropolitans 92 and win their first French championship title for the last of Victor Wembanyama, on June 15, 2023. Two events which had aroused great interest for fans of the ball orange.
