The Fiorentina of mister Vincenzo Italiano reached the final for the second time in a row Conference League after overcoming Club Brugge in the semi-final. Now the decisive match in Athens on May 29th, in which it will find one between Aston Villa and Olympiakos. But how much has the purple club earned thanks to its journey in this competition? Each team has a bonus for participation: Fiorentina earned 2.84 million. Then 1.34 million for the club’s historical ranking and 2.6 million from the market pool.
With the group stage, Rocco Commisso’s company collected 2.1 million for bonuses linked to results and 0.65 million for winning the group. Finally, between the round of 16 (0.6 million), quarter-finals (1 million), semi-finals (2 million) and reaching the final (3 million), Fiorentina has so far collected a total of 16.23 million thanks to the Conference League.
Aurelio De Laurentiis he considers the Conference League a useless competition – his words – but is it really a tournament to be snubbed? 16 million is not a small amount even if, objectively, it is not a prestigious cup and it involves several “edgy” away games during the championship.
