Monza Sport x te: Third Edition of Final Event Promotes Inclusion and Fun for Students

The third edition of the final event of the Project returns to MonzaSport x te” Friday 10 May, from 9am to 1pm, in Piazza Trento e Trieste.

A morning of sport and fun that includes the participation of many 24 classi (first and third) of the city’s State Primary Schools, belonging to 14 groups of the 9 state comprehensive institutes of Monza, with approximately 500 children and 72 teachers in total, of which 24 support teachers.

The event is organized by the Municipal Administration – Education Sector, and is sponsored by CONI – Lombardy Region Committee.

The event
During the morning, students and teachers will try their hand at a real “sport” circuit.
Are provided 8 stations Of sports-motor disciplines different: Gymnastics, Inline Skating, Judo, Tennis/Padel, Football, Basketball, Yoga and Psychomotricity, Volleyball and Dance.
The latter will be transversal to all fields with a short and lively choreography that will mark the transition to the next station.
The children will play for about 20 minutes in groups of three classes each.

Many Monza sports clubs involved in the annual project and in this final event with the children: Nuova artistica Monza, Aso S. Rocco, Gerardiana, Sanfru Basket, Scuola di Judo Monza, Ronin, la Dominante, AstroRoller Skating, Pro Victoria/VeroVolley, Freemoving, Donne Lunatiche, Palextra, GSC4 Les Petites Etoiles and Ass. Silvia Tremolada for inclusive sport.

This latter Association in particular will be active with 10 instructors and 10 volunteers to guarantee the practice of different sports for all children with disabilities present: 38 this year, 12 more than the last edition. In total, the sports clubs will be present with 91 instructors and volunteers and some exhibition gazebos.

Also Brianzacque will make its contribution thanks to a gazebo for the free distribution water to all the children, while Sodexo will provide a piece of fruit to each participant to ensure a healthy snack. The event will be directed by MWRadio and the Educational Innovation Service of the Education Sector, owner of the project and coordinator of all the subjects involved in the event.

“The event – ​​explain theSports Councilor and the Mayor – it will be the culmination of opportunities for aggregation, exercise and sporting activities provided by the Sport x te project to young students of Monza schools. In particular, the commitment continues to involve an ever-increasing number of children with disabilities, also the result of the ‘Sport for you, Sport for all’ training course aimed at teachers of institutes which saw the participation, in this edition, of over 40 teachers”.
