Monaco extends Radoslaw Majecki’s contract until 2028

The 24-year-old Polish goalkeeper has extended his contract for four seasons with the Principality club.

Monaco’s Polish international goalkeeper, Radoslaw Majecki, 24, has extended his contract until June 2028, the Principality club announced on Monday.

Arriving in Monaco at the start of the 2020-2021 season from Legia Warsaw for a transfer worth 7 million euros, Majecki, who was loaned last season to Cercles Bruges, finished the season as a starter in the Monaco cages.

Majecki took the place of Swiss Philippe Köhn after the home defeat against Toulouse (1-2) on February 18. Since then, the Pole has played 12 Ligue 1 matches.

His record is very positive since he has nine victories, two draws and only one defeat in Lyon (2-3). During this period, Majecki kept a clean sheet seven times and conceded a total of ten goals. He also played three Coupe de France matches.

Majecki, who was under contract with Monaco until June 2025, extended for three seasons with the Principality club, returning next season to the Champions League and where the Polish international (one selection) will start as a starter.
