Misolic at Mauthausen Challenger in the quarterfinals

The Styrian Filip Misolic reached the quarterfinals of the ATP Challenger in Mauthausen on Wednesday. The 22-year-old finalist from last year defeated number seven seeded Frenchman Ugo Blanchet 3:6 6:3 6:2 in the round of 16 and is now facing top seed 23-year-old Francisco Comesana. He won an Argentine duel with Juan Manuel Cerundolo 6:1 6:2.

Misolic fights his way into the Mauthausen quarterfinals

Lukas Neumayer, Joel Schwärzler and Gerald Melzer will play their round of 16 games on Thursday. In doubles, Schwärzler and Neil Oberleitner unexpectedly won the Austrian opening duel with defending champions Sam Weissborn/Philipp Oswald 7:5 7:6 (7/3).
