Since the Indonesian U-23 national team lost to Iraq in the third-place match of the U-23 Asian Cup, much of the public attention on social media has been more than negative.

Half of Indonesia’s under-23 players have been accused of blasphemy and insults. Marcelino Fernando, who was still young, became the target of people’s despair in the face of defeat.

“I think the large number of comments on the Internet indicates an increase in interest. That’s good. Today it is still negative, but I think the interest should be maintained,” Dito said.

Dito explained that the public’s interest in Indonesian sports is increasing. But he wants you to take the positive and leave the negative behind.

“Awareness about the sport is increasing. This is a positive point that we have to accept. Continue being in good networks,” she added.

Dito, who was in Doha, Qatar, to watch the Indonesia U23 match, admitted that he had spoken to the players. He recommended not being too active on social media and not reading the comments column.

“Yesterday we brought more motivation and experience. It was for the football and badminton players who were involved in cyberbullying,” Dito said.

“I am also often criticized by netizens. It is important that my compatriots focus on their plans and what they trained for.”

We must maintain the mentality and psychology of the Indonesian U23 team. Because on Thursday, May 9, 2024, they will play against Guinea in the playoff match of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
