Students in full sport. Yesterday, at the Porto Tolle building, a huge sporting event was held for middle school students. The pupils of the 12 classes of the Ca’ Tiepolo and Scardovari middle schools tried their hand at as many sports disciplines. In the realization of the event, promoted by the Brunetti Comprehensive Institute with the collaboration of the Sports Department and the management of the “L. Milani”, as many as 12 sports associations operating in the Porto Tollo area contributed; Porto Tolle Basketball, Sakura Judo, Coop Hockey. Minor Titles, the Tennis Club, the Scardovari Volley, the Il Cigno dance school, the Asd Gc Porto Tolle.
All united in one place for an entire morning with the aim of promoting the beauty and importance of sport at 360 degrees among young people. Councilor Silvia Boscolo underlined: “Starting at 9am, all the classes, accompanied by a teacher, met the local sports clubs, moving to the various stations set up in the building. At each station, each student was able to try the proposed activity for approximately 15 minutes, and then move on to the next, until completing the round of disciplines. Each of them was thus able to have a taste of all the activities proposed, coming into contact with sports organizations that perhaps they did not know were active in their own municipality or being struck by the particularity of one or more of them. I thank the numerous sports associations that took an active part in the creation of this successful opportunity for dialogue and discussion between disciplines, the school management and staff, and the management of the sports hall for having collaborated in a fruitful manner”.
