On the second day of the national championship in Madrid, the rest of the qualifying rounds were played. The three Menorcan goalkeepers in contention comfortably passed the round of 16 matches. Already in the quarterfinals, Santiago and Vanrell lost their matches, finishing in seventh and eighth position, respectively. For its part, Corbacho beat Javier Nicolas from Murcia by 6 to 2 set points.
