Eight finals for Colombia in the Pan American Archery Championship in San Salvador show the masterful division of the compatriots.
After the qualification rounds last Thursday, nine Colombian goalkeepers qualified for eight finals.
The progress was recorded in the sub 15, sub 18 and sub 21 categories, where Sebastián Villegas stood out in the sub 21 individual compound.
He, along with María José Quintero in the under 18 individual compound, won the bronze medals in the Pan American Archery Championship held in El Salvador.
The finals of the Colombian archers, along with their respective categories, in recurve bow are those of Andrés Hernández from Colombia against Juan Pablo Téllez from Mexico in Sub 21
The second qualifier for the final is Nicolás Gómez who will face Lee Liam from the United States in the Sub 15.
Likewise, Lexlie Nicole Gómez was registered as third, who will face María Salas from Mexico in the Under 21 category.
Sofía Acosta from Colombia is the fourth classified in the final and will face Rebecca Recinos from Guatemala in the Sub 15.

On the other hand, in the finals of the Colombian archers, along with their respective categories, in compound bow there will be Juan Esteban Almario who will face Harkunwar Singh from Canada in the Sub 15.
The second in this category is Juliana Gallego from Colombia who faces Adriana Castillo from Mexico in the Sub 21.
The third in the compound bow is Dayanna Cardona who faces Savannah O’Donohue of the United States in the Under 18
Finally, Mariana López from Colombia will face Susana Monsalve, also a Colombian, in Sub 15.
Sebastián Villegas, in the U21 men’s individual compound bow, won bronze after defeating the Canadian Hoy Trevor.
For her part, María José Quintero won the bronze medal after her victory, 146-139, against Bailey Mathers from Canada.
During the day of this Friday, May 10, the team modalities for both compound and recurve bows will be held, while during the weekend the individual finals will be held.
