The Dallas Mavericks beat the Minnesota Timberwolves this morning (108-109) in Minneapolis and went 2-0 in the NBA Western Conference final, a game in which the Slovenian Luka Doncic, with a triple-double ‘, was once again decisive.
The former Madrid player, with three seconds left, scored a triple that allowed the visitors to take the win and try to close the tie at home. With this, the comeback culminated after the ‘Wolves’ were leading by 18 points at halftime and by 14 after the first minutes of the third quarter.
Not even the discomfort in his right leg hindered Doncic, who added his fifth triple-double in these Playoffs by achieving 32 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists. The emergence of his ‘squire’ Kyrie Irving in the second half, who finished the game with 20 points and scored four triples in the last quarter, also led to the comeback.
The sensations, however, were once again bitterness for those in Minneapolis.
