Leinster-Toulouse (22-31) in the Champions Cup final: “A hell of a fight”… and a hell of a winner

It’s another trophy, another podium, another carpet. Hidden from the eyes of the majority since France 2, the broadcaster of this Champions Cup final, deceived by the extension which it had not envisaged, cut its antenna to go to Cannes to admire the palms. There were still BeIN Sport subscribers and lucky spectators in this majestic setting of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to appreciate the parade of these new kings of Europe.

Heroes marked in their flesh. We had to see the greatest of them, Antoine Dupont, in tears, a mark on his forehead, agitated by feelings diametrically opposed to those who had shaken him seven months earlier, prematurely eliminated from the World Cup with the XV of France, in the quarter-final by South Africa at the Stade de France.
