Sunday May 12, 2024, the La Ferté-Bernard archery team traveled to Daumeray (Maine-et-Loire) to compete in the second round of Division Regional Excellence 2 which sees teams from Vendée compete. , coming from Aizenay and Fontenay-le-Comte, teams from Loire-Atlantique, coming from Nantes, Carquefou and Montoir de Bretagne, a team from Maine-et-Loire, coming from Mazé, as well as teams from Sarthoise , coming from Laigné-en-Belin and La Ferté-Bernard.
The day began with qualifying shooting in two rounds. If the Fertois archers struggled to find their bearings during the first round, they were able to recover and climbed to first place in the ranking at the end of the second round. There followed five duels organized in the afternoon. The Fertois archers won three and retained their second place in the general ranking.
