Kazakhstan GP postponed after flood disaster – sport.ORF.at

The premiere edition of the Motorcycle World Championship Grand Prix in Kazakhstan has been postponed from June 16th to a later date in the year due to the flood disaster there in April.

Around 117,000 people had to be brought to safety as part of the relief work. Last year the race was canceled because work on the route had not yet been completed.
