Juventus Vs Monza: Bianconeri Win 2-0

Juventus closed Serie A 2023/2024 with three points. Entertaining Monza, the Bianconeri won by two goals without reply.

In the match at Allianz Stadium, Saturday (25/5/2024) evening WIB, Juventus fielded several substitute players including Alex Sandro who played his last match at the club.

Federico Chiesa and Arkadiusz Milik were installed on the front line to attack the Monza defense. Juventus was only able to score a goal in the 26th minute through Chiesa.

Chiesa got the ball on the right side of the Monza penalty box and beat two players before shooting into the top corner of Alessandro Sorrentino’s goal.

Two minutes later Juventus’ lead increased. Alex Sandro marked his final match with Juventus with a header after Nicolo Fagioli’s corner.

Entering the second half, Juventus tried to add goals, including Dusan Vlahovic. Chiesa had a golden opportunity in the 53rd minute but his shot hit the crossbar.

Chiesa made another chance in the 61st minute after playing a 1-2 pass with Fagioli before shooting. The ball was pushed over by Sorrentino

Monza’s best chance in the second half came in the 75th minute when Giorgos Kyriakopoulos headed the ball in front of goal, but Carlo Pinsoglio was able to block it.

Monza finished the match with 10 men after striker Alessio Zerbin was sent off in the 90th minute. Juventus still won 2-0 and finished the season with 71 points in third place in the 2023/2024 Serie A standings.

Monza is in 12th position with 45 points.
