Jujuy Judo Federation Shines at National Judo Opening in Córdoba

Several Judo podiums in the National Judo Opening that took place in the city of Carloz Paz, province of Córdoba. Of 12 representatives of the Jujuy Judo Federation who traveled, eleven podiums were achieved.

The contest, which was supervised by the Argentine Confederation, was attended by the best exponents from all over the country, so the representatives of Club Independiente shined by returning with gold, silver and brawl medals.

“A very positive balance because there was an outstanding performance that we had from Club Independiente in the Clausura from last year to now, we traveled with 12 judokas and 11 podiums were achieved, and the rest of those who did not get on the podium competed for several medals, About four escaped us, five more towards the end,” said Guido Cuevas.

The coach of the Avenida Senator Pérez entity said that “there was a very good level considering the three categories beyond the children’s, but the cadets, juniors, novices, graduates and seniors, we got a podium in each category, that marks that “We have good level judokas in each division.”

And in that context he highlighted that “Oriana López won gold in senior first, something that had been eluding us, it is the most important category.”
