The randoris continue at a good pace. Established since September 2023 within the CMA Saint-Pierre at 108 boulevard Françoise Duparc, more than 120 licensees make the heart of Judo Griffon beat. And it is under the leadership of two sisters of Armenian origin, Anush, triple silver medalist at the European Championships (2003, 2006, 2007) and bronze medalist at the World Championships in 2006, for the judo version and Ani Hakobyan , European champion in sambo (2002) and world medalist, let the students rehearse their ranges. A very formative experience which seems to bear fruit and the results follow: entered last March in the French Cup, the club brought back bronze from Villebon-Yvette (Essonne) through Erik Ghazaryan (-50 kg ). Alen Martirosyan, for his part, took 5th place in the under 38 kg category.
Very successful youngsters
A great way to validate and shed a little more light on work already recognized at the level of the league and department 13. Supported by the town hall of the 4th and 5th arrondissements of Marseille, Judo Griffon lays down its cards and strikes in all directions at through activities such as sambo, taiso or even self-defense. “We are very happy today to pass on our knowledge and share our experience to the youngest, but also to the veterans who come through the doors of the club. This partly explains the very good results obtained since then during departmental, regional and even national competitions, welcomes Ani Hakobyan who took over the structure in 2018. Club also very successful among the youngest in the South Region where it continues victories and podiums, the Judo Griffon has not finished making people talk about it. “With Anush, we warmly thank the founder of Provence judo-jujitsu Claude Centola for his trust since 2015 when I was training alongside him. It allowed us to see even bigger.”
This is a nice mark of recognition in return.
