The Judo Club Pontevedra youth team (made up of the municipal judo school and Vilagarcía squash) participated last Sunday, with almost thirty athletes, in the official exhibition trophy of the Galician Judo Federation that was held at the Coliseum of A Coruña.
Like every year, this competition brought together hundreds of school-age athletes from different Galician clubs and educational centers. The JCP quarry achieved excellent ratings, which reflected the talent with which they developed their levels and techniques but, above all, their attention to fun, respectful and healthy sports practice.
The club received the award for the technique developed in previous editions as a sign of the training work it is carrying out in the base categories. The person in charge of collecting it was the president and coach of the club Eloy Olveira Nuñez.
