A total of 15 judo competitions will be held at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris from July 27 to August 3. There are seven individual competitions for men and women, as well as a mixed team competition. Judo was the first Asian martial art to be included in the Olympic program. The sport debuted at the 1964 Tokyo Games, but was not included in the following games in Mexico City. But since the 1972 Summer Games in Munich, judo has remained an integral part of the Olympic program to this day.

Judo at the 2024 Olympics: dates and schedule of competitions

The judo competitions at the Olympic Games are divided into different classes. There are seven each for both men and women, from super lightweight to heavyweight. In the judo competitions at the 2024 Summer Olympics, each nation is allowed to send a maximum of 14 judokas into the race, with only one athlete allowed to compete in each weight class.

Broadcast of the 2024 Olympics in Paris: When and where can you watch Judo on free TV & stream?

The exact broadcast, including broadcast times, of the 2024 Olympic Games are not yet known. This applies to all sports in the Olympic program, including judo. What is clear, however, is that the games will be shown on free TV and free of charge in live streams on public broadcasters.
