At the time of the auction, The slugger stood up and offered $16,000 to get the painting. and such was the amount that there was no new offer to meet it.

Although Soto’s purchase seems like a shocking amount, the figure is ridiculous for the fortune he has accumulated over the years in the Major Leagues, which is valued at over $80 million dollars according to Baseball Reference.
