Join the Morelos-INDECO Pickleball Academy: A Fusion of Racket Sports

Discipline in which racket sports such as tennis, badminton and ping-pong are mixed

The Morelos-INDECO Sports Unit invites Morelians to be part of the INDECO-IMCUFIDE Pickleball Academy, a discipline derived from tennis, badmington, paddle tennis and table tennis.

This sport came to Morelia thanks to the initiative of American citizens, Jeff and Cherie Meacham, and has been adopted by the Municipal Institute of Physical Culture and Sports (IMCUFIDE) for its implementation in the city’s sports units.

Currently, this sport is practiced in various entities of the Mexican Republic, in addition to countries such as: the United States, Canada, Spain, India, the Philippines, and the Mexican Republic with the expectation that it will be promoted in the Games process. Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.

Thus, IMCUFIDE invites the Morelos population to join said Academy, which currently provides service for free at the Morelos-INDECO Sports Unit from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 12:00 and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., attended by instructor Juan Navarrete.

Children and young people aged 10 and over, as well as older adults who wish to enjoy this fun sporting activity, can enter the academy.
