Big disappointment however for the female triowho lost in the semi-final against France 5-1 (56-54, 55-55, 55-53) and will play for the continental bronze medal with Germany, seeing the possibility of grabbing the five-ring pass fade away right at the best of times on this occasion. Unfortunately, in fact, the second finalist for the title will be the Netherlands, who dominated the semi-final against the Germans (6-0), obtaining qualification for Paris 2024.
Previously Tatiana Andreoli, Lucilla Boari and Chiara Rebagliati they had also beaten Slovakia 6-0 in the round of 16 (54-48, 54-51, 53-48) and Ukraine in the quarter-finals (57-54, 53-52, 58-54). The Italians, due to the issue of the team Olympic card (while a slot for the individual is already certain), will try again at the World Pre-Olympic in Antalya with four places up for grabs and possibly with repechage via ranking (two passes).
