Italian Women’s Archery Team Faces Last Chance for Olympic Qualification in Antalya World Pre-Olympic Games

Friday 14 June Italian women’s archery team the last chance to obtain Olympic qualification for the Paris 2024 Games “on the field” will be played, on the occasion of the World Pre-Olympic Games in Antalya (Türkiye). It promises to be a high-tension tournament, reserved only for trios not yet qualified, in which four passes to five circles will be awarded.

The four semi-finalists will fly to the Olympics, while the other countries will still be able to hope for a repechage through the world ranking on 24 June (which should also take into consideration the results of the World Cup stage scheduled in Antalya until Sunday 23 June), which will distribute the last two slots for the five-circle review.

Italy, already qualified with the men’s trio thanks to the European silver in Essen, will present itself at the global Pre-Olympic with Tatiana Andreoli, Lucilla Boari and Chiara Rebagliati. No surprises in the calls from the national technical direction, which opts for a trio that has been tested for years and fresh from participating in the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2021.
