The investment fund Oaktree Capital Managementannounced on Wednesday that he has become the new owner of the club Inter de Milanchampion of the A leagueafter a default of 395 million euros (428 million dollars) from the Chinese company Suning Holding Group.
It is worth noting that Oaktree granted a loan in 2021 to Suning, which guaranteed his shareholding in the Nerazzurri club. And after the Asians did not cancel the debt, the American company took over.

It is important to highlight that according to the negotiation scheme three years ago, the American company would assume control of the team, if non-payment of the loan plus interest occurred.
It should be mentioned that in 2018 Steven Zhang (founder and owner of Suning Holding Group) became general director of the Interista club, after the cycles of several executives such as that of the Indonesian Eric Thohir (2013-2018), Massimo Moratti (1995-2004, 2006-2013), Gacinto Facchetti (2004-2006) among others.
