U-23 Indonesian National Team failed to compete Paris 2024 Olympics after falling 0-1 to Guinea. Statistics show that Indonesia is not very inferior.
The playoff match between Indonesia vs Guinea was held at the Pierre Pibarot Stadium, Clairefontaine, on Thursday (9/5/2024) evening WIB. Guinea’s victory was determined by Ilaix Moriba’s single goal from the penalty spot in the first half.
Guinea themselves had the opportunity to increase their lead again from a penalty after the break. However, Algassime Bah’s execution hit the goal post.
Even though they lost, Indonesia was able to match the game of the African representative. Statistics show that the Garuda Muda squad has the advantage in possession of the ball with a ratio of 51:49.
