In the interview series “How hungry are you?” with ex-NBA star Serge Ibaka, Musiala was asked about his top five players in NBA history.
“Point Guard: Steph [Curry]vor Magic [Johnson]” Musiala explained, leaving the Lakers legend out: “I never saw Magic play. Nowadays you need shooters,” he explained.
Michael Jordan also made it into Musiala’s starting five, although he was also active before his time: “I saw a few highlights. MJ has to be in the top five. He will win the game for me.”
The duo was joined by LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Shaquille O’Neal. “Two outstanding three-point shooters, a center who dominates the zone,” Musiala explained: “LeBron does his thing and MJ can then take over the middle distance.”
