Javelin thrower Victoria Hudson has to miss the Austrian top meeting on Friday in St. Pölten in Graz due to persistent pain in the lumbar spine area.
“Competing would be too risky in view of the European Championships and the Olympic Games. We hope that Vicky can start in Eisenstadt (May 22nd, note) in order to have an assessment of her position before the European Championships in Rome,” ÖLV sports director and coach Gregor Högler was quoted as saying in a broadcast.
