Ratings specialist Tina Nijkamp thinks that Hélène Hendriks will be allowed to continue with her talk show De Oranjezondag next year and will thus be prepared to deal with a possible departure from Today Inside. The VI trio’s contract with Talpa continues for another nineteen months and Nijkamp sees it happening that Hendriks will take the place of this talk show when Today Inside disappears from the air.
Nijkamp discusses in her podcast Tina’s TV Update Hendriks’ switch as a sports presenter to Ziggo Sport, but also the future of her own talk show: “I think the Oranjezondag will continue this autumn, because Hendriks can make a considerable number of talk show hours that way. She will of course be ready then would like SBS if those men (Wilfred Genee, René van der Gijp, Johan Derksen, ed.) stop doing it,” Nijkamp says at the end of the Today Inside program.
“The contract expires in nineteen months, when Johan Derksen will also be 77,” the media personality says. “Then Hendriks can take over that gap nicely. An Orange Sunday will of course help with that. That wouldn’t surprise me and I would actually think it is a very good idea,” Nijkamp finally says in her own podcast.
