The Gourdon judo club was in the spotlight with a new 1st Dan rank at the Émile-Collard municipal dojo, Friday May 3.
Éric Lecru, BPJEPS certified judo and jujitsu teacher, presented the black belt to Marcus Pécourt, junior of the club.
Marcus started judo at the age of 4 in the Paris region. He joined the Gourdon club in 2018 under the teaching of Benoît Desessard, then in the last two years under Éric Lecru.
His investment and seriousness in the judoka journey enabled this great reward. Congratulations to Marcus!
Sunday May 5, 28 judokas took part in the tournament of Saint-Cybranet, a club in the Céou valley. The babies, mini-chicks, chicks, minis and cadets offered great fights in all categories and brought home great rewards. The Gourdonnais Judo club sends a big thank you to the Vallée du Céou club for its friendliness and warm welcome.
