This year at the Fantini Club we add a touch of novelty by introducing the latest trend in racket sports: Pickeball!
It is an extremely fun sport that mixes elements of tennis, badminton e ping pong.
How does it work?
Pickleball is almost always played in doubles (two against two), although it can be played individually (one against one), using a special perforated ball, with a net similar to that of tennis and on a court of equivalent size to that of badminton. The rackets are larger than those used for table tennis and smaller than those used for padel.
The game begins by serving the ball from below, that is, moving the racket below the waist in an upward motion, without the ball bouncing off the court. To win, you need to reach 11 points with a margin of two points.
Anyone can practice it, regardless of age or athletic preparation: it is easy to learn and the rules are simple.
