Genk are now looking for a worthy replacement for Vrancken. Several profiles are on the table, but one coach in particular has really made a strong impression.
According to Het Nieuwsblad, Thorsten Fink should indeed become Vrancken’s successor. The newspaper reports that the negotiations took place in the best possible way.
This led to a meeting of the Board of Directors in Genk. The three files were discussed and concerned Ruud van Nistelrooij and Johan Van Rumst.
The Limburgers are still fighting for fourth place and currently have 37 points. Cercle Bruges will do everything possible to overtake Genk. On Sunday, Genk will play their last match of the season against Union Saint-Gilloise.
