The Paraguayan Gabriela Narváez continues to achieve success in Judo, this time, coming in second place in the women’s -48 kg category at the Pan American Open held in Santiago, Chile.
In her first match, the compatriot defeated the Chilean Ayinko Toloza, to advance to the semi-finals, where she defeated the Ecuadorian Erika Jara, moving on to the final, where she lost to the Argentinean Keisy Perafan.
A result that left Narváez as the winner of the silver medal, adding 70 more points in the Olympic ranking, which closes on June 23 and that, for now, keeps her in the classification zone for Paris 2024 through the continental quota .
