Fulda (pm/cb) – An exciting association league baseball game with a good outcome for the FT Blackhorses Fulda: In the Münsterfeldallee, the East Hesse team underlined their good form and let the weak start to the season slip into oblivion. An impressive performance led to a 12-2 win over the delegation from Rüsselsheim.
As the game progressed, the FT Blackhorses managed to continually expand their lead thanks to strong team play. The team not only showed solid team play in defense and offense, but also a notable improvement compared to the start of the season in April. Maleek Leinberger, the FT’s rising junior pitcher, also impressed with his strong performance in the first innings early in the game. The two coaches, David Crenshaw and Daniel Gallus, expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance. “We have made great progress compared to the start of the season. We made very few and only small mistakes throughout the game today. Today we were strong at bat as well as in baserunning. Particularly noteworthy is the outstanding pitching of Maleek Leinberger and the two triples hit by Daniel Gallus. We are running like a machine,” says Crenshaw proudly. The FT Blackhorses’ winning streak continues after the last game against the Kassel baseball club.
