French Record Scorer Olivier Giroud Signs with LA FC in Major MLS Move at 37

Olivier Giroud moves to the MLS at the age of 37. The French record scorer has ended his contract with AC Milan and is moving to California. He signed a one-season contract with Los Angeles FC with an option for an extra year.

Olivier Giroud announced yesterday that he would leave AC Milan and that his next club would be in the US. It has been rumored for some time that LA FC had managed to sign Giroud and that news is now official.

Giroud bumps into his buddy Hugo Lloris in LA. The striker could make his debut in the MLS at the end of July, although that of course depends on his possible selection for the European Championship (June 14 to July 14) and the trajectory of the French.

Goal machine Giroud has played football for Montpellier, Arsenal, Chelsea and Milan in recent years. Giroud is the best shooter in history for the French national team.
