This weekend during the Astana Judo Grand Slam, our judokas delighted the crowds. Romane Dicko confirms her Olympic form and wins gold in +78kg. 🥇 Shirine Boukli and Sarah Léonie Cysique took bronze, respectively in –49kg and –57kg. 🥉

On the roof of Europe 🥇
During the European taekwondo and para taekwondo championships in Belgrade, Althéa Laurin retained her crown and became European champion for the second time, what a performance from our Frenchwoman 🔥
Added to this performance are three silver medals, including 2 in para taekwondo:
🥈Sophie Caverzan -57kg for taekwondo
🥈Djelika Diallo -65kg for taekwondo
🥈Magda Wiet-Henin – 67kg

Adrien Bart stood out for the Szeged canoe-kayak sprint World Cup. Our Frenchman finished second in C1 1000m. 🥈
On the para-canoe side, Rémy Boullé lost to the Brazilian Luis Carlos Cardoso Da Silva by 4 hundredths! Nélia Barbosa also had a very good race and won bronze! 🥉
Rain of medals at WTCS Yokohama
During the World Triathlon Championship Series our French women shone. Léonie Périault finished in 1st place for the second time in her career while Emma Lombardi placed third and won bronze! 🥇🥉
On the para triathlete side, Alexis Hanquinquant and Michael Herter maintained their domination and won gold, respectively in PTS4 and PTS3. Other results below:

Clément Bessaguet achieved a very good performance during the Shooting World Cup in Baku. By finishing second in the 25m speed pistol, our Frenchman won a superb silver medal. His second medal in this World Cup! 🥈

Our archery teams were huge at the European Archery Championships. Our two French women’s and men’s teams won the competition and became European champions. Lisa Barbelin, Amélie Cordeau and Caroline Lopez won by overturning the match (5-3) against the Netherlands Baptiste Addis, Thomas Chirault and Jean-Charles Valladont beat (6-0) the Italian team 🥇
Individually, Lisa Barbelin and Jean-Charles Valladont finished third, winning the bronze medal. 🥉
Le BMX freestyle en or 🚲
This weekend during the BMX Freestyle World Cup in Montpellier, our French produced two totally crazy performances.
After two incredible runs where gravity seemed to have no effect on Anthony Jeanjean and Laury Perez, they both won for the first time in Montpellier. What incredible performances a few months before the Games. 🥇
Wheelchair tennis in the spotlight 🎾
Our Blues won the bronze medal in Antalya during the Wheelchair Tennis World Cup after South Africa withdrew in the match for 3rd place. 🥉

These are two medals won by our French this weekend during the European Sailing Championships.
The shock duo Sarah Steyaert and Charline Picon managed to take second place in the 49er and brought home an incredible silver medal. They continue their meteoric rise 🥈. Camille Lecointre and Jeremie Mion place themselves in third place in the 470 mixed, which promises for the future! 🥉

Pierre Dejardin won and won a very nice gold medal at the Modern Pentathlon World Cup in Sofia as an individual. The first of his career!

Rhythmic gymnastics in the spotlight 🥉
This weekend at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Portimao, our Blues produced a superb performance by bringing home two bronze medals.
Manelle Inaho, Lozéa Vilarino, Justine Lavit, Aïnhoa Dot-Espinosa, Célia Joseph-Noel – Shana Loxton-Vernato, Emma Delaine sought bronze in the all-around as well as in the 5 hoops event (non-Olympic event.)
