Lisa Barbelin (Ley) and Caroline Lopez (Cheminot) embarked on the second round of the World Cup, this Wednesday in Yecheon (South Korea), and the two Mosellanes experienced varying fortunes. The first finishes best French with her 20th place (659 points) out of 115 participants and she will challenge the German Charline Schwarz on Friday for a place in the 16th final. Caroline Lopez (59th) will also try to qualify, but she will have a lot to do against the Chinese Jingyi Zhu (6th).
The team event proved more favorable, since the Tricolores ranked tenth at the end of the first day. Lisa Barbelin and her partners will face Uzbekistan this Thursday to reach the round of 16.
