Foro Italico Camp: A Summer of Fun and Sports for Over 500 Children

Outdoor sports and on the tatami, fun, recreational activities, well-being, sociality and inclusion for over 500 children. Great success for the Open Day of the Foro Italico Camp at the Matteo Pellicone Olympic Center in Ostia. With the support of sports operators belonging to the community “Foro Italico People”, which will give rise to numerous activities throughout the Camp: badminton, cycling, football, e-sports, dog agility, rowing, canoeing and kayaking, swimming, weights, rugby, baseball and softball, basketball, sport fishing, fencing, skateboarding, surfing, sup and wakeboarding, takewondo, judo, wrestling, karate, archery, shooting, cricket, tambourine and horse riding. The Sports and Health summer centre, open to all (info on the Company’s website), aims to introduce children and young people aged 3 to 16 years to basic sport, allowing them to test disciplines of all kinds, and above all guaranteeing hours of leisure and learning.

An opportunity for families who, during the summer closure of schools, will be able to let their children spend unforgettable days dedicated to sport and correct lifestyles. “This morning we attended a sports festival involving hundreds of children. The Foro Italico Camp is a winning and replicable model, the result of important team work, which manages to bring young people closer to grassroots sport, promoting culture sports and the diffusion of correct lifestyles”, said Riccardo Meloni, HRO director of Sport and Health, who spoke together with Massimiliano Benucci, general secretary FOR YOU, to the municipal councilor Giorgio Trabucco and to the councilor of the 10th municipality for the ecological transition, environment and sport, Valentina Prodon. Also present were Michele Lenza and Chiara Virginia Cacchi, Camp Project Manager and HRO Sports and Health Manager respectively.
