On the afternoon of May 20, the “I Want to Participate in the National Games” 2024 National Croquet Championship and the 8th Asian Croquet Championship qualifiers closed at Fengheshan International Health and Wellness Center in Fengxian County after four days of fierce competition.
Liu Zeming, head of the Secretariat Office of the Chinese Croquet Association, announced the closure. After fierce competition, Zhejiang Taihe Team and Sichuan Penglong Team won the group championship of Group A and Group B respectively. Zhang Xinchun and 40 others were awarded as outstanding referees, 33 teams including the Tibet University for Nationalities Gateball Team won the Sports Morality and Style Award, Fengxian People’s Government won the Special Contribution Award, Fengxian Education and Sports Bureau, Shenti (Shanghai) Sports Culture Development Co., Ltd., and Fengxian Fengheshan International Health Care Center won the Outstanding Organization Award.
Han Baijie, the leader of the Taihe team in Zhejiang Province, said that we had five players come to participate in the national championship in this competition. We were very honored to win the championship among many teams in this competition, because all the top players and strong teams from all over the country came to this competition.
