FC Red Bull Salzburg is associated with another talent from Africa.
As “L’Equipe” reports, the Mozartstadt team, alongside the Ligue 1 clubs OSC Lille, Stade Rennes, Olympique Lyon and OGC Nice, are said to be interested in the 17-year-old Cameroonian striker Dorinel Angel Yondjo Matah.

Yondjo Matah is currently studying at the Ecole de Footballl Brasseries du Cameroun, where Samuel Eto’o was also trained, and was most recently a Cameroon U17 national team player.
With Cameroon’s U17 he took part in the Central African youth tournament “UNIFFAC U17” in January 2023 and was named the best player of the tournament.
However, Yondjo Matah’s move to Salzburg would not be possible before February 2025 because, as a minor, he is not allowed to sign with any European club.
