FC Bayern Munich Continues Search for New Coach

FC Bayern Munich is still looking for a new coach.

As is well known, Thomas Tuchel will have to vacate the coaching position at the end of the season. However, as “Sky” reporter Florian Plettenberg reports, the 50-year-old was open to continuing with the Munich team.

Tuchel missed out on the championship title this season, but could still win the UEFA Champions League with Bayern. In 2021 he celebrated victory in the premier class with Chelsea FC.

There were discussions internally about whether Tuchel would stay, but the door to this scenario is currently closed.

Two options are attractive for the German: Manchester United and a return to Chelsea. There should be loose contact with the “Red Devils”, but at the moment Tuchel is focusing on the Champions League victory with Bayern, which he wants to achieve for the team and the fans.

Returning to Munich “not an option” for Guardiola

The search for a coach continues in Munich. A number of candidates have already canceled. Most recently, for example, Julen Lopetegui, who will probably join West Ham United after parting ways with David Moyes.

Pep Guardiola is also currently not available for the German record champions.

“Pep carries FC Bayern in his heart, but he doesn’t want to leave Manchester City this summer. He is very happy and has a contract until 2025. A return to FC Bayern is not an option,” Sky quoted the Spaniard’s management as saying .
