European Pre-Olympic Archery Competition in Essen: Schedule, Quotas, and Participants

Sunday 5th and Monday 6th May is scheduled in Essen European Pre-Olympic archery competitionan Olympic qualifying event for Paris 2024. The German location is preparing to host a continental tournament with three individual quotas up for grabs (maximum one per nation) for both men and women which exclusively concerns countries still without a pass in a certain sector.

Italy, for example, has already guaranteed itself the certainty of a slot in the women’s individual (thanks to Chiara Rebagliati’s bronze at the 2023 European Games) and will therefore participate in the European Pre-Olympic only with the men. Specifically, the Azzurri involved will be Mauro Nespoli, Federico Musolesi and Alessandro Paoli, all looking for a strong finish (minimum top 8 placement to have a chance) to give the Bel Paese at least an individual quota also in the men’s category.

Below is the complete calendar, the detailed program and the times of the European Archery Pre-Olympic in Essen. At the moment there is no television coverage of the event in Italy, but we await news in the coming days in this regard.
