Edmonton Oilers qualified for NHL conference finals

The NHL Conference Finals bracket is now complete. After the Florida Panthers and the New York Rangers in the East, then the Dallas Stars in the West, the Edmonton Oilers in turn qualified on Monday. They won against the Vancouver Canucks (3-2) and won the series by four victories to three.

No goals were scored in the first period. Edmonton then scored three times in the second period, by Cody Ceci, Zach Hyman and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. In the third period, Vancouver reduced the score thanks to Conor Garland and Filip Hronek, four minutes from the end of the match.

The Western Conference final against the Dallas Stars begins Thursday in Texas. That of the Eastern Conference between the Florida Panthers and the New York Rangers will have started on Wednesday in New York.
