Parral.- The effort and dedication of parents have allowed two teams of judokas from Parral to stand out in a national championship in Monterrey, raising the level of Judo in the state of Chihuahua with outstanding competitors.
Professor Andrés, who reported on this achievement, highlighted that 25 medals were obtained in mini, baby and pre-infant categories, although they faced some problems in the sub-15 category, which is a priority for CONADE.
This success shows that recreational Judo in Parral is well established, but there is still much to do in the competitive field. All the credit falls on the parents, since they have not received any support from government or institutional authorities.
Despite the difficulties, the results obtained have allowed us to accumulate points and obtain passes to the Pan American Championship in Varadero, Cuba. Professor Andrés assured that they will work hard to represent Parral in this competition, despite the lack of support for this sport.
