Cultural and Technical Exchange: Foulayronnes Arts Martiaux Club Members Train in Japan

Two licensees from the Foulayronnes Arts Martiaux (FAM) club, affiliated with the Nouvelle-Aquitaine league, recently participated in an internship in Japan, organized by the Judo Federation.

The Foulayronnais club was represented by Ludovic Blanchet, 4th dan, and also by Claudine Genièvre, 2nd dan (soon 3rd dan), pride of Jean-Claude Benezet, president of the FAM.

“After Patrick Bru, over the last two seasons, the club will have allowed three teachers to go and train in the land of the Rising Sun, a technical and cultural reference for the practice of judo and jiu-jitsu as well. a form of reward for their investment in this club which always aims for excellence in terms of teaching and also security in the latter,” further analyzes President Benezet.

He continues: “Also aware that the club is the showcase of the municipality and local elected officials, as well as of the mayor Bruno Dubos, who knows this practice well having practiced it during his university studies, the club will focus on returning to investment of the trainees. Olivier Boidin, vice-president, and myself as president are counting on it.
