In Mumbai, India, the entry of the five modalities, which was voted on together, received only two negative votes, from the approximately 90 representatives of the national committees, present at the general assembly.

Thus, there will be 35 sports played in Los Angeles, a new record, and, in relation to Paris2024, only breaking will be left out, as had already been announced at the beginning of 2022.
